NQ Underwater Explorers Club (Townsville) and Nautilus Dive Club (Cairns) have organised a fantastic online presentation for QLD divers on diving Christmas Island - Australia’s very own Galapagos Islands!
The aim of the presentation is to explore the beautiful diving and snorkelling opportunities in the waters surrounding the island, and to showcase it’s above water attractions, geography, natural environment, plus the logistics of how to get there, where to stay, and when to visit.
The presentation will include expert advice and information from Deborah Dickson-Smith of Dive Planit Travel, Jahna Luke from Christmas Island Tourism Association, David Watchorn from Christmas Island Extra Divers, and Lisa Preston from Indian Ocean Experiences.
This is a great information gathering opportunity for divers and their families who may be considering Australian dive holiday options beyond 2022 once travel and border certainty is re-established, and without pressure to buy a product or commit to a trip.
Presentation length is expected to be 60 minutes, and participants are encouraged to submit any questions they may have during the presentation as a chat message so they can be put to the presenters at the completion of the slide shows.
