We are planning to take the DownUnder to Flinders Reef or Cook Island on 4th February 2018.

If you have just signed up to UniDive, and have heard a lot about Flinders Reef then this trip is for you.

The day will be quote long, but well worth it. We will meet at The Shed at around 06:00 and head to Bribie Island where we will gear up and launch the boat. The trip to Flinders is around one hour with good conditions. We will have two sensational dives on the reef where you will see amazing amounts of hard and soft corals, many varieties of fish, nudibranchs (everyone loves a nudi!), critters, turtles, wobbies, and so much more. We will then return to Bribie before driving back to the shed to wash down the boat.

Note we might finish as late as 18:00 or 19:00 and everyone is expected the help wash the boat & returning it back to The Shed.

There will be a compulsory trip meeting at The Shed on Thursday 1st February at 18:30. Before the meeting you will also have the opportunity to hire any gear you need at 18:00. Please click here for more information and gear hiring prices.

A deposit of $50.00 will be required to confirmed your spot, more information on this a little later.

Weight and tanks are included in the cost of this dive.

Lunch is available to purchase at the marina (fish and chips) or bring your own. Snacks will be provided during the surface interval.

For new people to the club: Finns, booties and masks are NOT included in equipment, you will need to bring your own or talk to the club committee, they might have extras. Also, all money transactions at The Shed and on the dive day, are done in cash.

A safety sausage, cutting device and your license are compulsory to dive in Queensland waters. These can be purchased for an additional cost at The Shed.
