Who is interested in diving with manta rays, leopard sharks, turtles, octopuses and anything else that comes along on the day?
If so I'm planning a day trip to Straddie to dive Manta Bommie on Sat 13 Jan with Ken. The plan is to meet at the Unidive shed at 5:15 am with a 5:30 am departure for Cleveland Ferry terminal, arriving around 6:30 am for the 7:00 am ferry to Straddie. We need at 2-3 people with cars for transport to/from Cleveland. A double dive is on offer from Ken's Rib boat at Manta Bommie with a max depth of 15 m so this is suitable for open water divers. Tanks and weighs will be provided. All other dive gear is your responsibly with the Unidive dive gear hire available this Thur night. No food is provided on this trip so either bring lunch or buy something on the island. The cost for the day will be about $125-135 being double dive $90, ferry about $30-40 and $5 for fuel. The trip is limited to 8 people.
We will return on an afternoon ferry around 4pm and back at the Unidive shed around 6pm.
