Stradbroke Island Day Dive Trip 11 August 2018

Good morning all,

I've been contacted by Ken (Straddie) and he has a late cancelation so we have the chance to organize a day dive to Straddie this Saturday 11th Aug.
If the conditions allow, we will be attempting to dive with the grey nurse sharks at Flat Rock. This will be for experienced divers only as you must be certified to 30 metres and be comfortable diving with sharks and maybe a little current.

The plan is fro up to 6 divers to leave Brisbane around 6am to be at Cleveland for the 8 am ferry. Do two dives and  returning on the 4 pm ferry - arriving back in Brisbane around 6 pm. Experienced divers to assist with dive operations and people with cars to transport the group to Cleveland will be most appreciated. 

Cost will be around $135 = $100 double dive + $5 fuel + return ferry $30.  Please bring cash on the day.

Note: No food is supplied on this trip so you will need to bring lunch/snacks or buy some on the island.

Dive gear is not included and is your responsible with Unidive gear hire available for this trip. Tanks and weights are supplied by Ken.

Please be at the Unidvie shed tonight for a quick trip meeting 6:30 pm 9 Aug 2018.
