Manta Bombie is the home of Manta Rays and leopard sharks during summer.

Can we get a crew for Australia Day Public Holiday (Monday)This is an EXP trip.... and you need to come to the trip meeting on Thursday at the shed at 6.30 pm.

Please note the trip is subject to the boat being serviced prior to next weekend - this will be confirmed ASAP. It will go ahead with a minimum of six divers, but the price will increase if we don't have a full boat.
Lock and Jens will be the boat handlers for the day.

The dive day is long starting at 5.45 am at the Unidive shed to load the boat and finish around 6:00 pm. Please don't plan anything on Monday  night until after 6 p.m.

This trip is organised by volunteers and each team member is expected to assist with the day's operation.  Please nominate a task. We'll need someone to help with driving, snacks, finance, tank filling, trip report.

If the boat is full, the cost will be around $100. Gear hire is the responsibility of each individual diver; except weights and tanks which will be loaded on the day (as a group). You can hire gear at the shed before the trip meeting on Thursday (more info here).

Each diver must:

• Be a current Unidive member and be medically fit to dive.
• Have Advanced or equivalent certification
• Have at least 30 dives, at 10 different dive sites
• Have dived in the last six months.
• Dive with an SMB/safety sausage, cutting device and whistle. Note: These items are NOT supplied. Safety sausage and shears can be purchased from Unidive.
• Bring their own mask, snorkel, and fins as Unidive does not hire them.
• Dive within their certification and capability.
• Help out throughout the whole day.
• Have done their swim test.
