We will start with reviewing a bit of theory before gearing up and jumping in the pool to practice some skills.
The cost is $40.01 which includes pool entry and use of club BC, regulators and a cylinder of air. You will need to bring your own fins, mask, snorkel and swimmers.
Fees to be paid at time of registration to secure your spot
If you are borrowing club BC or regulator for the first time you will need to put down a refundable $65 deposit (to be paid in cash) with the loans team before you remove gear from the shed. Make sure you arrive at 5:40pm. There will be a lot of people trying to borrow gear on this day. Better yet, get your deposit sorted out the week before. See the Gear Hire page for more information.

Please answer the medical questionnaire (see link in waiver). If you answer 'Yes', you will not be able to participate without a medical clearance. It is recommended that you get a medical before participating in any scuba activities.
Download the attached knowledge review (see link in waiver), have a go at answering the questions and then check your answers. Bring these along with you and note any problems you had. The primary aim of the workshop is to get you comfortable with your gear and being in the water.
