About

Unidive is the University of Queensland Underwater Club, and has been around for more than 50 years.

You don't need to be a student to join Unidive - it is open to any qualified diver. As a club member you can take part in regular dive trips, workshops, social events and underwater sports.

We meet every Thursday night at 6pm at our club shed, located behind the UQ Aquatic Centre.

The purpose of UNIDIVE Inc. is:

  • At the heart of Unidive sit the core values of Community, Discovery, Responsibility, and Ownership.
  • Unidive works to allow certified members to engage in SCUBA diving in safety commensurate with the practices expected to be encountered in responsible groups in the local community.
  • Unidive works to assist and encourage members to undertake training in all levels of SCUBA diving, and afford members the opportunity to participate in all aspects of Club activities.
  • Unidive members are expected to take ultimate responsibility for their own actions and safety, to ensure that they are medically fit to dive and to only dive within the limits of their training and certifications.
