While we might be primarily a diving club, we also do a LOT of socialising and believe this is an important part of our club. We know that social events help members make good friends, find new buddies, and learn a lot about their sport from sharing stories and advice with other members. Social activities also promote more diving, because there's nothing more likely to get people organising trips than sitting around chatting about where they want to go next!
Have a look below for some of our regular social events, but we also love to go to seminars about ocean wildlife, see movies, have dinner together after diving or just meeting at the shed, or even just go to the pub together. We are always open to new ideas, so if you're a member and want to suggest a social event let the Social Officer know.
About once a month we have a BBQ on a Thursday night at the shed.
When: Selected Thursdays 6 - 7 pm. Check the Events calendar on the UniDive web site.
