Through PulseStart Training Solutions, Unidive is running a training day to help members refresh their emergency response skills and update qualifications. There are three options—please read carefully and choose what suits your needs. If unsure, contact training@unidive.com.

Option 1: HLTAID009 CPR + HLTAID015 Advanced Resuscitation

Price: $110
Renewal: Annually

Schedule

• Register with PulseStart: After signing up on the Unidive website, you’ll receive instructions to register and pay. You must complete this within 1 week to keep your spot. Please note that the ticket on Unidive website will be $0 because participants are paying Pulse Start directly. Those who have already volunteered twice will be given a discount code to use on the Pulse start checkout.

• Online Learning: Must be completed at least 1 week before the training day.

• Classroom Session:Saturday 31 January 2026, 9AM–12PM @ Unidive (UQ St Lucia). Arrive 15 minutes early.

Who is it for?

• Divers wanting advanced CPR, oxygen use, and emergency management skills.

• Anyone needing to renew their CPR/advanced resus qualifications.

• Members wanting to assist as boat handlers or surface watch.

Other Dates: If you cannot attend on 31 Jan, email training@unidive.org to express interest in an additional weeknight session.

Option 2: HLTAID009 CPR + HLTAID015 Advanced Resuscitation + HLTAID011 Provide First Aid

Price: $150
Renewal: CPR/Advanced Resus annually; First Aid every 3 years

• Classroom Session:Saturday 31 January 2026, 9AM–4PM @ Unidive. Arrive 15 minutes early.

Who is it for?

• Members wanting full CPR, oxygen therapy, and first aid capability.

• Those renewing qualifications.

• Anyone planning to complete the Rescue Diver course (mandatory prerequisite).

• Volunteers such as shore support, workshop leaders, and boat handlers.

Lunch:

Microwave, fridge, and kettle available. Bring a packed lunch or order food. A break will occur around midday for 30minutes when option 1 finishes, leaving only option 2 students for the first aid component.

Volunteer Reimbursement

Members who perform boat handling, surface watch, or other qualifying volunteer roles at least twice within six months before or after the course may be reimbursed. Email training@unidive.org for discount codes or volunteer info.

How to Secure Your Place

1. Sign up via the Unidive website.

2. You’ll receive an email from Unidive and PulseStart with instructions to pay and access eLearning.

3. You have 1 week after receiving this email to pay—otherwise your place may be reallocated.
