Welcome BBQ:

It's that time of the year again, gathering at the Unidive shed for our FREE Welcome BBQ! 

Come along to meet your fellow members, new and existing, and of course enjoy some hot snags.

Free Pool Night:

The club has exclusive access to the pool from 7 to 8 p.m. During this time, all members are welcome to jump in, swim laps, hang out/ splash around, complete UQ swim tests, and fine-tune our scuba diving skills. 

Open Training Night: 

To make using the pool to fine-tune your scuba skills easy, the club offers free loan gear and tank fills to all members during free pool nights. Come to the club, grab some gear, and hop in! Of course, all scuba divers must have a buddy, and if you can't find one to meet you on the night, please come along anyway and ask around on the night, as other members will be in the same boat. Please return all gear and tanks cleaned by 8:30 pm the same night.  We do need volunteers help to fill pool tanks or take everyone's tanks to a dive centre to fill them. If you are able to help refill pool session tanks, please reach out.

**Please note that while Open Training Night permits both registered participants and walk-ins to access free gear, availability is not guaranteed. Priority for equipment is given to official Unidive workshops, courses, and events, as well as to individuals with private weekly loan agreements, all of whom have paid for gear usage. Only gear not allocated to these groups will be available for general member use. Distribution of any remaining equipment will operate on a first-come, first-served basis.**

UQ Swim test: 

The UQ swim test comprises of swimming 400m (untimed) and treading water for 2 minutes, supervised by a lifeguard. This test is a UQ requirement for all clubs that get in the water. All members must complete this test every two years.
