UniDive Mooloolaba Reefs Trip
Please ensure that you read all the trip information before signing up for the trip.
This is a commercial trip on the Sunshine Coast with Scuba World. Note that this is an afternoon trip which is perfect for those who prefer a later start to the day, but you will need to be at Mooloolaba by midday, so you need to consider traffic congestion in your travel plans.
The trip cost includes the seat on the boat, tanks (air) and weights. There are complementary snacks and hot drinks provided between dives, but if you have special dietary requirements then you are recommended to bring your own.
You need to pay for your place on the trip at the time of booking. Until you have paid, you don’t have a place on the trip. The club needs to finalise the booking with the operator a week before the trip. Cancellations will not be possible after the Friday the week before the trip. If you are unable to make the trip after this it is your responsibility to find someone to pay you for your place otherwise the money you have paid will be forfeit.
There are around a dozen sites to choose from on this double dive trip. The sites will be selected by Scuba World based on the weather conditions, diver experience (there will be members of the public on this trip as we do not have the boat exclusively) and the season of the year.
UniDive are organising these trips to provide trips that members with Open Water certification and minimal diving experience can go on. As well as going to some amazing dive sites you will be able to gain confidence in your diving ability and increase your diving experiences. Specifics about the possible sites on the trip can be found on the Scuba World website.
All dives will be guided by Scuba World and are suitable to Open Water certification or higher.
Dive gear you will need to bring with you:
- Mask
- Snorkel
- Fins (and boots if appropriate for your fins)
