UniDive is pleased to host a PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) Specialty Course in collaboration with our volunteer PADI Instructors.
Date: Wednesday 25th March 6:30pm-> late
Location: UQ Classroom (no dives are required for this certification)
Cost: $190
This fee includes PADI eLearning and certification fees, use of a nitrox analyser, and pizza during the evening session.
Once the course reaches a minimum of four students, eLearning access will be issued. The online training takes approximately 2–4 hours and must be completed before the course night.
During the in-person session, your instructor will:
Review the eLearning theory and answer questions
Demonstrate how to analyse a nitrox tank
Guide you in completing an enriched air log
Show you how to set your dive computer for nitrox
If you’re looking to extend your bottom time and reduce nitrogen loading, this course is the perfect next step. Diving with enriched air is especially beneficial for those who dive frequently or complete multiple dives in a single day.
Pre-requisites:
Unidive members with a PADI Open Water diver certification (or equivalent; junior OW also accepted) or a higher certification level.
How to register:
Simply, register for the event on the Unidive Website (button above). You will have 1 week to pay from the date of registration. This is to ensure we can issue online learning as soon as possible, to give students time to complete it before the orientation session. If you have not paid in this time, your place may be given to the next member on the waiting list.
