Nine Mile Reef Drift Dive 🦈🌊

We’re heading out for an epic drift dive at Nine Mile Reef, located off Tweed Heads on the NSW/QLD border. This site is known for its incredible shark encounters — expect leopard sharks in summer, grey nurse sharks in winter, and wobbegongs year-round. You might also spot bronze whalers, bull sharks, and even the occasional hammerhead, along with plenty of other marine life.

Dive Details

• 2 dives from a commercial boat
• Cost: $210
  • Includes tanks, weights (provided by GCDA), and a guide
• We will gear up and enter the water together as a group
• Fuel cost is additional (pay your driver on the day)

Gear

• Tanks & weights: provided
• All other gear: your responsibility
• Loan gear available (BCD, wetsuit, regs) at the shed on Thursday prior

Experience Requirements

This is a remote, deep site (~30m).
All divers must have:

• Advanced Open Water (or equivalent)
• Minimum 25 logged dives
