Byron Bay Camping & Adventure Trip
Hey guys,
After experiencing the memorable trip that was James’ camping trip to Fingal Head, we have decided to organise a series of weekend getaways to iconic dive locations. These weekends are not only about the diving but having a great experience with an amazing group of people.
This trip is to Byron Bay – Julian Rocks. Julian rocks is situated within the Cape Byron Marine park in northern NSW, on the east coast of Australia and has been likened to a ‘mini Galapagos’
These weekends will entail

Saturday

- Double or single dive - (depending on what you want to do)
- Lunch In Byron Bay post dives
- Communal Dinner
Sunday
- Breakfast
- Break camp
- Exploring the location / Beach day
- Lunch at Lennox Heads
- Head back to shed
Other trip Information - PLEASE READ!
- Firstly, you'll needed to have passed the swim test BEFORE signing up to this trip.
- There will be a meeting on the 8/8/2019 to go over the important trip information.
- It is estimated that the trip will cost around $200.00 per person. To confirm you spot you'll need to pay a deposit, exact number to be determined shortly. More informaiton to follow.
- We will also require your certification number and number of dives should provide to Sundive by this point, so please pay attention to your emails. Please bring your certification card along with you on the weekend.
- Please note that if that trip is cancelled due to poor weather the dive component of the deposit is refundable (at the decision of the dive shop), but the accommodation component is not. We can still go anyway and not dive if we choose.
- This is a camping weekend, but don't worry you won't need to be a fully decked out camper! If you don't have a tent start asking around to borrow one, but make sure it's not a Taj Mahal size please. You'll also need bedding (sleeping bag/sleeping mat & pillow). Target have a great range of camping items for really cheap. Cups/bowls/plates/tables etc we'll get from the club.
- Everyone is expected to help out during the trip; everything from buying food/cooking to washing up after dinner.
- We are staying in a holiday park with amentities, so it's not fully wilderness camping!
