Hey everyone,

with the new year coming (and hopefully lots of trips) and the MEAM project at the door steps, I would like to organize a Rescue day (boat & shore) at Osbourne Point, Redcliffe, to allow everyone to practice and get up to speed with their rescue skills.

This will particularly aimed at Boathandlers and Dive Trip supervisors and I would like to encourage all Instructors, DMs, Rescue divers, or equivalent (e.g. BSAC Sportsdivers) to sign up and come along.

There is a Rescue pool session to practice in-water skills (out of air, controlled lifts to surface, weird gear,...)  Thursday 28. January 9 before (https://www.unidive.org/events/84830/) and it would be great if people could make both.

The plan is to have shore and boat scenarios and give everyone the opportunity to practice their rescuer as well as casualty skills :-P

We are also planning to have a BBQ after (thanks to committee sponsoring) to mingle, chat, de-brief and relax.

Let me know if you have any questions (training@unidive.org).

Cheers Mel
