Anyone can apply for membership - you don't need to study or work at UQ.

It is a requirement that you hold a valid UQ Sport Swim Test Certificate before you register for and participate in any water based club activities such as dive trips, refreshers or other workshops.
The swim test is free, and you can do it whenever the UQ swimming pool is open. You don't need to first be a club member or wait until a club pool night. You can contact UQ Sport to ensure that a lifeguard will be available to conduct the test.
The test consists of:

Certificates are valid for two years.
Use the buttons at the bottom of this page to apply for new membership, or to renew your existing membership.
As part of regestering for new membership, you'll be asked to upload a copy of your dive certification and a photo of yourself. Ensure that your images are fairly small in size (ideally less than 300 kB), or you may encounter an error.
Once your membership is approved, you'll receive an email with account login details.
If you seem to not receive your login details, check your spam folder, or try using a different email address.
